Art has always been a part of my life, but it didn't become a passion until I started art school at New England School of Art & Design in Boston - that changed everything for me.
My career has evolved and changed through the years, working as an illustrator, graphic designer, art studio owner, painter and teacher. All of these great experiences have led me to Katie Blue Art - and so the next chapter begins!
I grew up in a big, crazy family and have lived north of Boston for 30 years with my super-husband and partner-in-crime, raising our three daughters who continue to amaze me every single day. With three girls, always having fun with fashion was a constant in our house! Finding something unique, making a statement, being creative, feeling good about yourself - that’s what fashion is for me. And that’s how I started creating wearable art. I want each piece I design to be special and individual. And I love working with people to create the perfect custom piece just for them.
